The coaching team at the Bundaberg Academy has been providing specialized goalkeeper training for over 20 years. We take pride in nurturing many local goalkeepers who have advanced to A-League Clubs and Academies, clubs, and have gone onto represented Australia. Our commitment goes beyond just goalkeeper development; we aim to cultivate talented young coaches who can deliver our comprehensive coaching programs and embark on careers in professional football.

Sharon Anderson
SQUAD COACH
​Sharon Anderson is a former Queensland Women’s goalkeeper who has played Division 1 Ladies football in Bundaberg for 25 years. Sharon has played in a staggering 19 Grand Finals winning 14 of those finals. Sharon has been a member of Goalkeeping Australia since 2004 and brings a wealth of knowledge to pass onto young, upcoming goalkeepers. Sharon holds a current Goalkeeping Community licence.
Sam Hodgkinson

​Sam Hodgkinson is a representative goalkeeper who has been a member of Goalkeeping Australia for 8 years. He brings an enthusiastic manner to coaching young goalkeepers instilling the basic skills and techniques. Sam holds a current Goalkeeping Community licence.
Ethan Elsmore

​Ethan Elsmore is a representative goalkeeper who has been a member of Goalkeeping Australia for 8 years. Ethan was a member of the Wide Bay Buccaneers playing in the National Premier League. He brings a wealth of knowledge to pass onto young, upcoming goalkeepers. Ethan holds a current Goalkeeping Community licence.
